I know I made a post about this a while ago, but I’m going to make it again since we’re getting into the hottest time of the year.

If you’re out in the Sonoran Desert in AZ and you see any of these [bottles with insults], please pick them up and throw them away. Vigilante groups are leaving intentionally empty gallon jugs in popular crossing points and that is the last thing that somebody needs to see as they’re trying to cross.

If you can, carry clean and full jugs with you and leave them where you see these. Gatorade or Electrolit are also really good for re-hydration.

This is what the school-to-prison pipeline looks like. This is how black youth criminalized.

1. She was doing a science experiment
2. She’s being charged as an ADULT
3. She’s being charged with a FELONY

If this all goes the way the prosecution wants, this young woman will be LEGALLY discriminated against for the rest of her life. No voting, housing discrimination,  employment discrimination (as if getting a job while black isn’t hard enough), etc. etc.

I posted this werewolf name generator with a story attached, someone deleted the story and everyone began reblogging with their ‘werewolf’ names, despite how terrible the names were. I was annoyed with that, but it was something I could handle. Then someone used the thing wrong, got the name ‘Moon Moon’, and then proceeded to say that they would be the most ‘retarded’ werewolf. Now people are making photos (memes) making fun of ‘Moon Moon, the mentally handicapped werewolf’.

Some people say they just think he’s a big, lovable, but dumb werewolf, as if making fun of people who are not as ‘smart’ as other people is still acceptable. I have a close mentally handicapped friend who got into a horrendous car crash, so seeing that it was spawned from a picture of mine, it makes me pretty much cry every time I see it. Despite asking people to stop, because it’s possible to stop posting things, it’s not that hard, people continue to keep it going, even though I’ve already taken a two week break from tumblr in order to avoid it.

(if it’s not okay for me to reblog this, I will gladly remove it. I just want to make my followers aware of why this meme is hurtful and harmful.)

This is Micah. He needs a new home. I’m getting kicked out of my house so I need someone to adopt my cat. Otherwise he won’t have a home at all.

He just turned nine. He’s fixed, declawed, and litter trained. Micah is shy and defensive when he first meets someone, but he’s back to his normal self after about a week. Then it’s all love and cuddles from him! He’s very affectionate once he warms up to someone. He likes snuggling up in bed and being held like a teddy bear.

We’re in the Albuquerque area. I’d be willing to take him anywhere in New Mexico. If you’re interested in adopting him, please message me. Even if you can’t adopt a cat, please reblog so someone in the state can see this and help us!

AMBER ALERT: Police have issued an Amber Alert for Bryeon Hunter, a 1-year-old boy taken from 6th and Main in Maywood.

The child was apparently taken by three male Hispanics.

The African-American boy is two feet tall and 30 pounds. He was wearing a two-tone, blue stripe long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and brown Nike boots.

Kids are putting Drano, tin foil, and a little water in plastic drink bottles
and capping it up - leaving it on lawns, in mail boxes, in gardens, on
driveways etc. just waiting for you to pick it up intending to put it in the
rubbish, but you’ll never make it!!!
If the bottle is picked up, and the bottle is shaken even just a little - in
about 30 seconds or less it builds up enough gas which then explodes with
enough force to remove some your extremities. The liquid that comes out is
boiling hot as well.


Don’t pick up any plastic bottles that may be lying in your yards or in the
gutter, etc.

Pay attention to this. A plastic bottle with a cap. A little Drano. A little
water. A small piece of foil.
Disturb it by moving it; and BOOM!!

No fingers left and other serious effects to your face, eyes, etc.

Please ensure that everyone that may not have email access are also informed
of this.
